A ski adventure at Jackson Hole
This is no doubt a fascinating mountain range, close to the Tetons, with magnificent mountains all around, to ski on or off the trail. A must visit mountain for adventure skiers and mountain enthusiasts alike. I learnt to ski as an adult which holds me back on some of the more advanced slopes. Jackson Hole is the place to let go and overcome your worst fears while exercising caution. A peek into Corbet Couloir is satisfying enough for me though! Here is a brief photo journal.
There are many “bowls” of varying abilities. The nice thing is that many of these bowls are wide and forgiving.
The best part of the whole experience is that you are surrounded by spectacular views all around and there seems unlimited snow, terrain to be explored.
The Corbet Couloir is for expert skiers and daredevils only for sure. Definitely not for the faint of heart and one must plunge into it with full confidence and control.
On a good day, many many skiers line up to take the plunge and you may even witness some cheering for those who make it without a fall. For others, it can be a difficult day to retrieve their skis, poles etc.
Someday, I hope my skills get to a point, or perhaps it is the mindset, to be fearless to attempt the Corbet Couloir!
